The Green & Quirky Upcycling Project's purpose is to turn old furniture, cast offs, broken stuff into useful, colourful, vibrant items which are sold on social media with the proceeds going to the Church. The opportunity involves woodwork & perhaps some electrical work before items are tested by qualified professionals. In particular the role requires hinges to be attached, small pieces of wood sawn and assembled into small items such as bird boxes, or larger items such as a garden gate. Only hand tools can be used on the premises. Group members are encouraged to fulfil their own ideas and projects rather than be directed. Creativity is welcomed!
