Do you have a driver's licence? Can you spare 1/2 - 1 day per week? Do you enjoy being out and about? You can drive our shop van to help deliver/collect furniture across Fife! Our shop offers a fun, social environment where volunteers learn new skills/experiences; references for future employment; the opportunity to learn British sign language; a generous retail discount and unlimited tea & biscuits! All that is needed is a commitment to at least 4 hours/week (flexible); a friendly attitude; physically fit; full and clean driver's licence. The van will be provided but if you have your own that would be incredible! (NB there will always be a Van Assistant accompanying you on any journeys for picking up/delivering goods). No experience necessary as full training will be given.
no upper age limit has been specified
Half day trial shift to see if the opportunity is right for the volunteer. References check conducted after volunteer decides to commit on a regular basis. Induction includes tour of building/facilities, safety training on equipment use, till operation training and opportunity for 1:1 regular support & supervision sessions if requested.
Out of pocket expenses paid?
Yes - Public transport rates on the day/week reimbursed and 45p per mile for car travel.
