    About this opportunity:Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries are looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to provide a 5 star welcome to their visitors on arrival. From 'Meet & Greet' to informing people about the venue and town, local people are needed to give a memorable first impression to visitors from far and wide!
    The main tasks in the role are to meet all visitors with a warm welcome, offer venue maps and give a brief overview of the venue and the facilities on offer and answer any face-to-face enquiries regarding the venue. Volunteers should have a reasonable knowledge of Dunfermline and be happy to provide local information on areas such as what to see and do, shopping, food and drink. They will be responsible for maintaining a supply of up to date local information.
    This role is suited to outgoing, sociable and friendly individuals with a passion for the Dunfermline area.

    Minimum age:16
    Maximum age:no upper age limit has been specified
    Training provided:All FCT volunteers receive a standard induction that covers venue information, Health & Safety, meeting the team and role orientation. Training is on the job with members of our staff team with a supervisor supporting volunteers throughout their placement.
