OpportunityAbout this opportunity: Are you interested in gardening? Able to carry out activities independently, after training/guidance? Experience in horticulture or gardening helpful but training can be given. You will have an opportunity to plant and grow crops/fruit/veg which can then be cooked as a meal or handed out to the community to help improve health.

Volunteers will be part of a supervised team. Appropriate training (certified) will also be offered. The Buckhaven Growing Space has a polytunnel, composting toilet, tool sheds, allotments and an established orchard. One of CLEAR's volunteers won FVA Volunteer of the Year in 2017 and several years previously.
The Methil Community Garden is newer but also has a children's planting area. CLEAR can show you both to help you decide which one you'd like to volunteer in. Can't get childcare? Bring the kids along and get them involved. Both gardens are a safe space with secure gates to make the whole area enclosed.Takes place: mornings afternoons evenings Mondays Tuesdays
