All of the 7-a-side clubs in our Fife-based leagues are looking for additional coaching help. No experience needed as free training provided! All that is needed is for volunteers to commit a certain level of time. That can be as little as 2 hours per week for one training session or up to 10 hours a week for multiple training sessions and games at the weekend - normally Sundays. The teams will normally provide coaches with relevant clothing, all training both at the club and training courses to achieve relevant qualifications - which are not hard and do not take much time. This is a very rewarding chance and we have many teams in Fife who need additional help. The clubs are always grateful for any help they receive so please do consider getting in touch.
no upper age limit has been specified
Each club will support a volunteer by having them work with existing coaches. The volunteers will get access to some training materials straight away. Each volunteer will then take part in SFA training courses, which are geared for people with no experience and designed to help them start to learn to be coaches, then they get more advanced. None of the course required are difficult and do not have anything like written exams. Everything is practical and if a person is injured or has a disability it does not matter, they can still complete the courses.
Out of pocket expenses paid?
No experience is required and there are coaches in the league with various physical conditions so physical fitness is not a huge factor either.
