OpportunityAbout this opportunity: Takes place: mornings afternoons evenings Mondays 
Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays Minimum age: 16 Maximum age: no upper age limit has been specified Training provided: The volunteer would attend Induction and Module 1 of Samaritans Initial Training together with potential volunteers for listening roles. If there was further training available, through FVA for example, they would be able to attend if they wished to do so. Also Samaritans General Office Fundraising Team are available for advice if required. All volunteers are supported by a team, and every other volunteer in the branch. Out of pocket expenses paid?
Yes - Expense forms are completed by the volunteer and submitted at regular intervals (no specific timescales, volunteer can decide, though not less than twice a year).Experience required: Preferably, though not essential, experience in a fundraising capacity, self-motivated and enthusiastic. Basic IT skills e.g. documents and spreadsheets. Able to work with people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities. Supportive of Samaritan values. Restrictions on who can volunteer
