    About this opportunity:The Treasurer will be expected to - liaise with the Financial Administrator to overview existing financial procedures, attend monthly meeting of the Management Committee, present a detailed statement of Income and Expenditure, prepare budgetary information and cash flow projections for Management Committee and assist in the preparation of annual accounts for independent examination.

    Training provided:The new Treasurer would receive induction and on-the-job training from the Centre's Financial Administrator and be supported by other volunteers on the management committee.

    Yes - Public transport rates reimbursed as required.

    Experience required:Skills - Good communication, numeracy and IT skills with the ability to forward-plan and prepare budget projections. Attitudes - Positive about people, belief in public service and commitment to community learning. Experience - Book-keeping/financial accounting, previous experience of committee work desirable but not essential.
