OpportunityAbout this opportunity: Working closely with a committed group dedicated to providing an advocacy service to vulnerable people living in North East Fife. The Chairperson should be able to provide leadership and direction to the Board of Trustees and enable the Board to fulfill their responsibilities for the overall governance and strategic direction of the organisation. The chairperson may also be called upon to represent the organisation at external meetings and functions. Takes place: mornings afternoons evenings Mondays 
Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays Minimum age: 25 Maximum age: 100 Training provided: The new committee member will receive an induction pack with a copy of the constitution and be fully briefed on the organisations vision mission plans and financial position. They will be informed of their role and responsibilities and any personal liabilities. They will be offered the opportunity to visit the organisation and meet with staff, volunteers and beneficiaries and service users. Out of pocket expenses paid?
NoExperience required: understanding and acceptance of the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of Trusteeship or a willingness to attend relevant training to further your knowledge. Commitment tot he charity's objects, aims and values and willingness to devote time to carry out responsibilities. Strategic and forward looking vision in relation tot he charity's objects and aims.
