Working closely with a committed group dedicated to providing an advocacy service to vulnerable people living in North East Fife. The Chairperson should be able to provide leadership and direction to the Board of Trustees and enable the Board to fulfill their responsibilities for the overall governance and strategic direction of the organisation. The chairperson may also be called upon to represent the organisation at external meetings and functions.
The new committee member will receive an induction pack with a copy of the constitution and be fully briefed on the organisations vision mission plans and financial position. They will be informed of their role and responsibilities and any personal liabilities. They will be offered the opportunity to visit the organisation and meet with staff, volunteers and beneficiaries and service users.
