OpportunityAbout this opportunity: Greener Kirkcaldy is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help them tell the world about what they do. Media Volunteers share information about their events and projects or anything else that is relevant to what they do at Greener Kirkcaldy. This can include their themes of climate action, community, food and growing, energy and travel.
As a Media Volunteer, you can help them spread their message through any form of media that interests you and training can be given in all areas so you don't need any experience, just the enthusiasm to get involved.
You could write blogs or social media posts for them, take photos or even create videos or podcasts for Greener Kirkcaldy. If designing is more your thing, you could create infographics or other graphics they can use on social media and their website. They also welcome volunteers with technical skills who could help to improve their website.Takes place: mornings afternoons evenings Mondays 
Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays Minimum age: 18 Maximum age: no upper age limit has been specified Training provided: There will be an initial induction by media team and then a Greener Kirkcaldy induction. Any further training needed will be given. Both the media team manager and the volunteer coordinator will be offering support. Out of pocket expenses paid?
Yes - 47p@mile paid monthly /if this isn't suitable other arrangements can be made.Experience required: Volunteers should have some skills with IT, writing blogs or social media, however training can be given. Restrictions on who can volunteer
