    About this opportunity:MyBus community transport provides a range of affordable, reliable, accessible transport services to groups and individuals unable to access suitable public transport. Lots of groups need transport - Pensioners clubs, playgroups and youth clubs are just some examples.

    Drivers will be required to provide assistance to passengers in boarding and alighting the vehicle and some may require the use of the passenger lift.

    This is an ideal opportunity to meet new people and be part of a service making a real difference in the local community.

    Minimum age:17
    Maximum age:no upper age limit has been specified
    Training provided:All volunteers will receive a structured induction period, to familiarise them with the work of MyBus in general and their own area of work in particular. Training will also be provided as appropriate to help fulfil their role effectively.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - 40p per mile is payable for car drivers. Bus fares are reimbursed in cash on a weekly basis on production of a valid bus ticket.
