Be the someone who makes a difference! Age Concern Glenrothes is looking for volunteer board members! No particular qualifications are needed apart from a drive to want to make life better for older people. By joining our Board of Directors you will help steer the organisation and gain valuable experience in management and governance. ACG provides services for older people in the Glenrothes area that enhance their quality and enjoyment of life by encouraging interaction, mental & physical activity and companionship. Your own experience and expertise will contribute to the board?s ability to provide the services needed to meet this aim. This opportunity not only gives you the chance to develop your own management, planning and teamwork skills, but contributing effectively also gives you a very real feeling of actively helping vulnerable people.
The Chair is happy to chat informally by phone with potential applicants to give more details about board membership and the role, to discuss the individual?s skills and experience, and to answer any questions.
Upon receipt of a completed application form applicants will be invited for interview with the Chair and one other Board member.
