Along with the Front Counter Assistant, they will set up seating area and counter ready for opening. Be responsible for taking orders from customers and take to Cook to prepare. Make sure Assistant prepares all drinks and that they are taken out to customers. Help with the cakes - cutting up as and when required. On start of day - check float is OK. Ensure whiteboard is up-to-date with "special of week" and what cakes are available that day. At end of shift, collect order dockets and place in cash tin, ready for Manager to pick up.

Induction will be given on arrival, brief breakdown of who we all are and what we do. Ongoing training will be given on a day-to-day basis as each day can be different. Regular chats will ensure that volunteer knows what is expected of them.
Out of pocket expenses paid?
Yes - Currently looking into funding to help with travel expenses. This will be discussed with volunteer when organisation finds out what they can offer.
It would be an advantage if person had either Food Hygiene Certificate or Cook Safe one. If not, these can be arranged if volunteer is interested.
