About this opportunity:Equal Voice is looking for volunteers who might have an hour or so a week to give to change the life of a vulnerable person in Equal Voice brings together local volunteers and vulnerable people.

Are you passionate about making a real difference in a vulnerable adult’s life? Becoming a Citizen Advocate is your chance to stand alongside an individual who may need a stronger voice in their community. It’s not about being an expert - it’s about being a genuine friend, a good listener and a champion for fairness. You’ll help someone feel seen, heard, and valued, while discovering new perspectives and connections yourself. Whether it’s supporting someone through a challenge or meeting up for a chat. Simply sharing a coffee, enjoying a catch-up that reduces loneliness and builds confidence can make such an incredible difference.

No special qualifications are needed and there’s no set amount of time required – it’s all about what you can offer – just an open mind and a caring heart. Make your voice count by helping someone else find theirs.
