    About this opportunity:Fife Rape and Sexual Assault Centre is an independent voluntary organisation that offers a range of free and confidential time limited support to all genders who have been affected by rape, sexual assault or commercial sexual exploitation. They also facilitate prevention workshops in schools, universities and within the community around topics such as Consent and Understanding Sexual Violence.

    They are seeking Volunteer Trauma Practitioners/ Trainee Counsellors to deliver 1-1 trauma informed support at their offices in Kirkcaldy on a Tuesday and Wednesday.

    As a volunteer, you will receive full support, travel expenses and ongoing support and development.

    Takes place:

    Minimum age:18
    Maximum age:100
    Training provided:Volunteers will require to undertake 7 sessions of training if successful at interview. They would receive peer support and ongoing support during their time volunteering as well as training where appropriate.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - They reimburse 55p per mile mileage and capped public transport costs. Expenses can be reimbursed twice monthly.

    Experience required:They are seeking people with an interest in the field of gender based violence who have excellent boundaries and a commitment to personal development.
