    About this opportunity:The Mindful Partnership is a charity committed to making mindfulness and compassionate living accessible for everyone. They offer tailored training, ongoing mentoring, workshops and retreats that provide the guidance and support needed to foster wellbeing, personal growth and stronger, more compassionate communities.
    Would you like to make a difference and develop your skills and experience to support them? They require a Treasurer to join their Board of Trustees. As a Treasurer you will:
    Prepare and present financial reports
    Ensure appropriate budgeting and accounting procedures and controls are in place
    Provide advice on the financial implications of strategic decisions and plans
    Ensure compliance with charity laws
    Optimise resources for long term organisational sustainability
    This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact, collaborate with others and use your skills and experience to make a difference

    Maximum age:100
    Training provided:A full induction will be provided and the Treasurer will be buddied up with another Board member. Ongoing training will be provided.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - Travel expenses will be reimbursed at 45p per mile or public transport rates. Payments are made twice per month on the 15th and 30th and expenses can be reimbursed as incurred as required.

    Experience required:Commitment to the values of The Mindful Partnership. Experience in financial management and accounting and knowledge of financial software and tools. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well on their own and as part of a team.

    Travel DetailsMeetings are held quarterly and are normally held on Teams/Zoom. The Board meet face to face once per year.
