    About this opportunity:Valleyfield Community Club is looking for volunteers for their cafes which run every Tuesday to Friday, providing food to people in the community in High Valleyfield.

    Over winter, this is a warm welcome café, and over school holidays, café inc is offered as well as a community café.
    There are a range of tasks that volunteers can get involved with, including making teas, coffees and drinks; serving food and drinks to customers; setting up; clearing away; and speaking to customers. Volunteers can also get involved with food preparation.

    Their small team of volunteers keeps the cafe running every week. If you would like to make a difference in your local community, improve access to food, and give people a social space to spend time together, this could be the right opportunity for you.

    Training provided:An induction to the community club and the cafe will be provided. Further training can be accessed for volunteers. The manager will provide ongoing support for volunteers.

    Experience required:Volunteers need to be comfortable speaking to members of the public who attend the cafe.
