    About this opportunity:Join CHAS in their new shop in Dalgety Bay, and help to sell donated stock as well as new goods to raise the vital funds required to care for children and their families. Volunteers are needed to support with welcoming customers, sorting donations or creating beautiful window displays and help raise funds to support children with a life-shortening condition and their families.

    This role will involve:
    Volunteering within a small team to sort, steam, hang and size clothing
    Making sure all stock is in safe and working order
    Pricing items under supervision and assisting with stock rotation
    Keeping the stock room clean, tidy and well organised
    Welcoming and assisting customers and serving at the till point
    Accepting donations and registering donors for Gift Aid

    Use your existing skills or learn new ones, meet new people and have fun all while making a real difference in your local community.

    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - Yes - CHAS reimburses reasonable out of pocket expenses incurred in the course of volunteering, including public transport on submission of receipts/tickets and car (current mileage rate = 45p), every month.
