  About this opportunity:	Furniture Plus provides affordable furniture to people in Fife through their Dysart and Dunfermline stores, supporting the community and the environment by reducing waste and encouraging reuse. They are looking for a PAT Tester to ensure the safety of donated electrical items. The main tasks include: • Checking the condition of donated goods • Performing safety checks on electrical items • Recording data on an iPad relating to the tests This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical tasks, and would like to gain experience working with electrical items.   Takes place:	mornings afternoons evenings Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays
  Minimum age:	16
  Maximum age:	100
  Training provided:	They provide a full induction (Health & Safety). Each volunteer will be partnered up with a fully experienced member of staff to begin with, and there will always be a named contact on hand to provide support. PAT Tester training can be acquired for volunteers.
  Out of pocket expenses paid?	Yes - Travel expenses are paid at 10p per mile for walking, 24p per mile for a motorbike, 45p per mile for driving and full payment for bus tickets. These expenses are available on a case by case basis
