    About this opportunity:PICTS is dedicated to alleviating poverty and assisting those in need in Scotland by providing essential care packages, food, clothing and long-term support for veterans, homeless and those living in poverty.

    They are looking for kitchen assistants to support the chefs to prepare approximately 500 meals every Saturday in the Maxwell Centre, Cowdenbeath. The role involves preparing the ingredients, chopping and peeling fruit and vegetables, dishing up the meals, cleaning the kitchen and washing the dishes.

    Training provided:An induction will be provided including Health and Safety. Ongoing training and support will be provided for the role.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - Travel expenses will be reimbursed on a case-by-case basis at public transport rates.

    Experience required:A positive attitude, good team player and an alignment with the values of Knights Templar. A food hygiene certificate would be desirable but is not essential as training will be provided.
