About this opportunity:Help Royal Voluntary Service Fife support older people to be independent and stay connected to their communities. They run day centres, weekly community lunch & activity groups, as well as monthly events across Fife, and they are looking for volunteers who would use their own cars (mileage reimbursed at 45p per mile) to transport older adults to and from local groups and events, who are unable to access public transport either due to a disability or the isolation of their location. Community Driver Volunteers transform the lives of older people, by enabling them to take positive steps to stay connected to their community, enjoying the company of others at events and groups, thus reducing their isolation.
