  About this opportunity:	Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland are Scotland's largest health charity working to help people with chest and heart conditions, stroke and Long Covid live life to the full. Many people living with these conditions experience fear, isolation and loneliness, and struggle to cope with the impact of their health condition on everyday lives. Would you like to use your skills and broaden your experience while making a difference to the 1 in 5 people living with chest, heart, and stroke conditions across Scotland? They are looking for an enthusiastic and well organised Project Volunteer to help support their teams with their projects to ensure no life is half lived. You'll support us by volunteering in partnership with various teams across CHSS to design, plan and deliver a specific, time-limited project. Tasks will vary but could include researching fundraising opportunities, producing a proposal and designing materials for supporters, volunteers and colleagues.
  Takes place:	mornings afternoons evenings Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays
  Minimum age:	18
  Maximum age:	100
  Training provided:	CHSS will provide access to a bespoke range of training and development to support you in your role, including: Cyber Security Awareness E-Learning; GDPR UK: Essentials E-Learning; Safeguarding Adults (L2) E-learning; and CHSS conditions awareness training.
  Out of pocket expenses paid?	Yes - Travel expenses should be agreed in advance with the Volunteer Manager and must be accompanied by an appropriate receipt. This includes travel from home, to and from the place of volunteering and any additional travel necessary in the course of volunteering. Car travel is reimbursed at 45p per mile.
