OpportunityAbout this opportunity: Meal Makers is a local neighbourhood food-sharing project that connects people who love cooking, and who are happy to share an extra portion of home cooked food, with an older neighbour who would really appreciate a freshly prepared meal and a friendly chat.
Time required to complete would be roughly 2 hours per week or fortnight and times are agreed between yourself and the diner. They try where possible to match people locally so this can be fitted in alongside your other commitmentsTakes place: mornings afternoons evenings Mondays 
Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays Minimum age: 16 Maximum age: 100 Training provided: Volunteers will be offered an induction and training will consist of watching videos to understand the role. There may be the opportunity for further training throughout the role. There is a dedicated member of staff available to discuss any issues with volunteers. Out of pocket expenses paid?
Yes - Travel expenses can be discussed on a case by case basis.Experience required: No previous experience is required just someone who enjoys cooking and is happy to chat with a local elderly person.
