    About this opportunity:Would you like to support local children and families to have fun and explore their feelings?
    Team Jak is looking for Family Support Volunteers to help with their two monthly groups - parents coffee evening and family activity sessions. Their family support team supports children to access different creative opportunities and experiences, to challenge themselves and to explore their interests and feelings in a secure setting with Jak's Den pop ups. They also support and encourage parents to get to know each other and talk about their experiences.
    As well as assisting with activities and engaging with children and parents, volunteers are also encouraged to give feedback on sessions and support the planning of activities.

    Maximum age:100
    Training provided:Volunteers receive a full induction and have access to Team Jak's 6 week befriending training programme. There will always be staff on hand for support.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - Expenses paid at 45p per mile or public transport rates.

    Experience required:Volunteers should be enthusiastic and willing to get involved with activities and speak with families.

    Restrictions on who can volunteer
    Volunteers under 16 are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
