  About this opportunity:	The Salvation Army is a worldwide Christian church  •  Their mission is based on their faith in Jesus Christ who wants everyone to experience life in all its fullness  •  That is why they put their faith into action by offering practical help for people without discrimination  •  They are looking for two local volunteers to restart their Cowdenbeath Parent and Toddler Group  •  The format of the group is relaxed and supports children to follow their own ideas and interests for play, and provides stimulating and creative play opportunities tailored to individual needs and development stages in a safe environment  •  Some tasks a group assistant could be involved in are: * Monitoring the safety of the group * Registration of parents and children attending * Interaction with children during play * Setup of play materials and toys etc * Provision of snacks and drinks for group
  Takes place:	mornings afternoons evenings Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays
  Minimum age:	18
  Maximum age:	100
  Training provided:	Volunteers will be offered ongoing support from the group leader.
  Out of pocket expenses paid?	Yes - Travel expenses can be reimbursed if necessary for the volunteer.
  Experience required:	Volunteers should be comfortable interacting with children and their parents, have a positive attitude and be willing to learn. This role is a great opportunity to gain new skills.
