About this opportunity: | The Scottish SPCA is Scotland's only all-animal rescue service and their work is done without any government funding • Volunteers are vital to the society's work and currently new volunteers are needed to assist the Legacy Fundraising Team with some basic administration duties • Volunteers will be helping to contact and thank the society's generous supporters and maintain the supporter database, as well as other administrative tasks such as photocopying and filing • For people with an interest in administration, this could be the ideal role • All Scottish SPCA volunteers are part of the rescue, helping to fund the vital work as Scotland's only all-animal rescue service • | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Out of pocket expenses paid? | Yes - We pay mileage at 0.45p per mile up to 15 miles each way (up to 30 miles total) per volunteering shift. We also cover train/bus tickets up to £12.50 per return journey. Volunteers provide a bank mandate form and submit their expenses request within a month of incurring the request. Experience required: | You will need good basic IT skills, an organised approach and the ability to work unsupervised. We are looking for someone who can commit to helping out one day a week so you should also be reliable and consistent.
