    About this opportunity:The Scottish SPCA is Scotland's only all-animal rescue service and their work is done without any government funding
     •  They are looking to expand their team of vital fundraising and community engagement volunteers as fundraising is now more important than ever and support is required in every Scottish community

     •  The volunteer may attend events, help with bucket shakes or collection cans, and there is also the opportunity to join the speaker network or help with pop-up advice hubs - there's lots to choose from

    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - We pay mileage at 0.45p per mile up to 15 miles each way (up to 30 miles total) per volunteering shift. We also cover train/bus tickets up to £12.50 per return journey. Volunteers provide a bank mandate form and submit their expenses request within a month of incurring the request. Expenses are processed and reimbursed by our finance team twice monthly.

    Experience required:We are looking for people who are passionate about animal welfare and the work of the Society. Volunteers should be friendly, approachable and confident in building relationships.

    Travel DetailsThis opportunity is based in the community and events could be held at any number of locations throughout Fife. Volunteers should able to travel to and from these locations by whichever means they prefer. A car/driving licence is not required for this role. As the role is flexible in terms of commitment, volunteers are not expected to attend every event unless they wish to.
