    About this opportunity:Trustees make up the governing body of Home-Start Dunfermline and have a responsibility to ensure that the charity’s activities are carried out in accordance with the Trustee and Investment (Scotland) Act 2005
     •  Trustees ensure that the organisation complies with requirements under both Charity and Company Laws, in addition to other laws such as Employment, Health & Safety etc
     •  Board meetings are held bi-monthly and the Trustees take an active part in the discussions and decision-making

    Training provided:Once a trustee has been elected they will work through the Home-Start induction programme. The programme will be supported, throughout, by the information and guidance within the Governance Handbook.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - 45p per mile + expenses incurred.

    Experience required:Trustees bring their own current skills and experience to the role. A full induction programme is in place. Interest in family welfare; good communication; good team player.
