    About this opportunity:Home-Start Levenmouth is a free confidential service for families with at least one child under the age of 5, living in Buckhaven, Wemyss villages, Leven, Methil, Lower Methil, Methilhill, Windygates or Kennoway
     •  As a volunteer with Home-Start you will help us make a difference to a family in the local area
     •  Volunteers can visit the families in their own homes or support them at our groups
     •  A full training course is provided, on-going training and support
     •  Volunteers can also provide practical support with meal planning, shopping and cooking, helping to get to Drs' appointments, reading to and playing with the children or supporting a family to go on an outing to the park or local groups
     •  The choice is yours!
    Takes place:
    Minimum age:18
    Maximum age:no upper age limit has been specified
    Training provided:New volunteers will attend a Preparation Course. Further training is on-going and volunteers are seen monthly for support and supervision.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - All travel expenses paid - 40p per mile for cars and public transport costs reimbursed.

    Experience required:This is exciting and rewarding voluntary work which requires energy, commitment, reliability, creativity and a sense of humour.
