    About this opportunity:Fife Centre for Equalities (FCE) are recruiting suitably skilled people to join the Board to help deliver our vision and mission

     •  Fife Centre for Equalities (FCE) was established in April 2014, as a joint initiative between Fife Council, Fife Voluntary Action and NHS Fife with the aim of working in partnership to develop more inclusive and responsive services for people in Fife, and to build a positive picture of Fife's modern and diverse population
     •  FCE became an independent body on 1st July 2016 and continues to work in partnership to develop a more harmonised approach in engaging different equality groups as well as supporting partners to improve their performances in meeting their duties under the Equality Act 2010
     •  Our Trustees need to have a passion and commitment to build a collective voice to champion equality, diversity, inclusion and social justice, along with the ability to provide strong governance and direction to ensure the delivery of our objectives

    Training provided:Roles and responsibilities of Trustee and regular development days for Trustees.

    Experience required:FCE are particularly keen to receive applications from individuals who have financial management experiences or have good understanding of charity legislation.     Travel DetailsFCE's office is based in Kirkcaldy. Board meetings normally take place during normal office hours, once every 2 months, in either Kirkcaldy or Glenrothes.
