About this opportunity:
CARF is a Fife based charity which offers free, confidential, independent and impartial information and advice • We also provide a number of specialist projects, funded and supported by a range of local and national partners •
CARF have exciting plans for the future which you could be part of and currently have vacancies for Board Members • We are seeking committed and experienced people who are willing to share their expertise and skills to become Board Members and to sit on our Board of Directors to provide governance and strategic direction to the organisation • Board Members usually meet every 6-8 weeks in the afternoon • Volunteers will have the opportunity to attend training as required •

Volunteers will be given a detailed induction pack at first meeting with the Chief Executive after becoming a Board Director. The CEO will go through this pack in detail and then arrange for the Training and Development Officer to meet with Director to look at suitable training programmes.

Yes - Expenses are paid on a monthly basis.
If you are willing to contribute some of your valuable free time and have experience of Business Design and Development, Finance, Marketing, Governance or Strategic Planning, we would be delighted to hear from you. In addition, we are particularly keen to recruit Board Members who have particular skill sets in Digital Improvements and Human Resources.
