  About this opportunity:	The Treasurer will be expected to: Liaise with the Financial Administrator to overview existing financial procedures  •  Attend monthly meeting of the Management Committee and present a detailed statement of Income and Expenditure  •  Prepare budgetary information and provide cash flow projections for Management Committee  •  Assist in the preparation of annual accounts for independent examination  •
  Takes place:	mornings afternoons evenings Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays

  Training provided:	The new Treasurer would receive induction and on-the-job training from the Centre's Financial Administrator and be supported by other volunteers on the management committee.

  Experience required:	Skills - Good communication, numeracy and IT skills with the ability to forward-plan and prepare budget projections. Attitudes - Positive about people, belief in public service and commitment to community learning. Experience - Book-keeping/financial accounting, previous experience of committee work desirable but not essential.
