About this opportunity: | Be a Chairperson for a charity providing vital support and information for people with brain injury, their families and carers • The chairperson plays a vital role in assisting the board in organising the smooth running of the support group • Build your experience and share your skills for Fife Headway • This role is vital to help run the work that they do • The role is varied and may include the following: -Planning the annual cycle of board meetings -Setting agendas for board meetings -Chairing and facilitating board meetings -Giving direction to board policymaking -Monitoring that decisions taken at meetings are implemented -Representing the Headway Group at functions, meetings -Acting as a spokesperson as appropriate -Bringing impartiality and objectivity to decision-making |
