  • Ceres Kemback and Springfield Church - Former Villager Cafe

    Created: 30/03/2018

    When: 7.30pm onwards, Thursday 05 April 2018
Where: Villager Cafe, 38 Main Street, Ceres, KY15 5NA
This event is being organised by Ceres Kemback and Springfield Church

It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

The Villager cafe in the Main Street in Ceres has recently closed down and it is much missed by many in the community.

Ceres Kemback and Springfield Church would like to invite you to a public meeting in the former Villager Cafe. The meeting is to identify what support there is in the village for using the space to run a community cafe for part of the week.

If it is thought there is enough demand it may be possible to run the community cafe for at least part of the week. This would only be possible if there were enough people willing to assist with the project. There may be other options for using the space and generating enough income to cover, at least, the costs of renting the building and running the cafe.

They would really welcome your thoughts and ideas on how the space could be used and if you would be willing to assist in any way with the project.

Please do come along to the meeting and join the discussion on how to keep this valuable community resource in the village open.
