    Post: Stock and Works Controller

    Hours: 36 per week

    Salary: £25,297- £27,856 Per Annum

    Kingdom Housing Association provides housing and support throughout East Central Scotland. You will be part of their In-House Maintenance Team helping to deliver a high quality maintenance service for the Associations tenants and customers. Based in their works depot in Glenrothes, you will be organising and managing their depot material and equipment stores to ensure that the stores, and their fleet of vans, are kept fully stocked to support their teams carrying out reactive repairs, planned replacements and void property repairs. In addition the post holder will be involved in monitoring and reviewing their reactive repairs appointments programme and allocating emergency repairs to the operatives to help ensure their reactive repairs service is as effective as possible.

    You should have several years experience working in a technical role in a repairs environment involved in material ordering and supply, with good general knowledge of materials used by multiple trades. You should also have a good understanding of how a multi-trade reactive repairs appointment system is organised and run and of dealing with emergency repairs in domestic properties, possibly from a trade or operatives perspective. You should also be a confident communicator, and be committed to delivering an efficient service to their tenants. The post is subject to a Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland check and a current full UK driving licence is essential for this post.
