It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

This is a new, specially developed session delivered by Frances McAulay, an experienced lawyer and Kenny Murphy, CEO of FVA who had a former career as an IT consultant to corporations which included data protection and information security.  Kenny and Frances have been Trustees and Chairperson of local and national charities, bringing extensive governance experience too.  This session has been specifically designed for third sector organisations.

It builds on the 'Introduction to GDPR' we held last year with the Information Commissioner's Office.  This new session is more practically focussed and goes into some detail around implementation of the key parts that will more directly affect third sector organisations.  For example, we'll look into the requirements to provide a notice to employees before 25 May 2018 or you run the risk of being in breach of the law and subject to huge fines.

There will be plenty of scope to ask generic questions, follow-up consultancy support to help with particular issues and implementation may be possible.
