This event is being organised by Fife‘s Third Sector Strategy Group, Connecting Scotland and FVA
This event is free to attend but to encourage attendance and try and ensure a good turnout to benefit all delegates, we will charge a non-attendance fee of £50.00 per delegate. By submitting a booking for this event you agree to pay this fee for those delegates who have places booked but do not attend.

Cancellations can be received up to 5 working days ahead of the event, thus avoiding non-attendance fees. A cancellation will only be valid if we have confirmed it with you. You can send somebody else in place of a booked delegate without incurring a non-attendance fee.

It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

Collaborative Leadership - Working Together for a Fairer Fife

How can a deeper understanding of facilitation & collaborative practices allow Fife’s Third Sector to work better together and lead more intentionally for a fairer and more equal place?

You are invited to join Connecting  Scotland for this highly interactive 2-day training on collaboration and participation skills where you will learn practices to help you:

    • Host more effective meetings
    • Have participatory events where every voice is heard
    • Work together better for stronger collaborations and partnerships

    They will:

    • Teach core participatory methodologies, giving opportunities for everyone to participate and maybe even practice
    • Teach models which will be useful in planning events and working with participation
    • Provide space for local organisations to network, build relationships and be in conversation on the questions facing Fife's third Sector

To create a fairer Fife we will need ambition, vision and determination. We will also need different ways of leading together so that we can achieve better outcomes and greater impact.

We want to collaborate more, have stronger partnership working and allow the voices of those we work for be better heard and have greater influence.

To work differently with each other we need new skills and capacities because good partnerships are about more than structures.

Having influence means engaging, listening and representing a diversity of views. Traditional meetings and events don’t always allow for under-represented voices to be heard.
