CLEAR Buckhaven - Project Coordinator

Hours: 30 per week, 18 month project commencing 01 March 2018
Salary: £24,000 per annum
Reporting directly to the CLEAR Management Committee and leading a team of up to 6 staff, the project Coordinator will be responsible for the successful implementation of the Aspiring Communities project from 01 March 2018 to 31 August 2019. The Co-ordinator will be responsible for overall operations, monitoring and reporting, problem-solving, building good relations with other organisations, volunteer engagement and support and others. The Coordinator will ensure effective coordination with other work of CLEAR and other agencies
The successful candidate will possess good academic or professional qualifications, significant practical experience in project management (planning, supervising implementation monitoring, evaluation reporting, coordination and communication, sound financial objectives are a prerequisite of the role) and management experience especially in sizeable grant-funded projects desirable.
The project involves community growing, environmental and related activity so direct experience of the field is essential as is experience of work in areas of higher deprivation with their many challenges. The Coordinator is expected to participate regularly directly in the work, of planting, harvesting, as often as possible. Ideally the candidate should live relatively locally within Fife and possess a driving licence. This post can be offered on direct employed or self-employed basis.
