According to an investigation by Sky News, Facebook groups are not anonymous, potentially putting service users at risk.

The Sky News report focuses on addictions support groups and the significant risks of people identifying members of groups and being able to access information about members, including their place of work and address.

It serves as a timely reminder about the benefits of using social media, and technology more widely, to support service users and be accessible, and crucially the risks and legal implications in doing so.
