A comprehensive session which covers the main elements of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (2007) Scheme, with particular attention to volunteers.
The aim of this course is to build on your knowledge of the PVG legislation, to inform of recent updates, and to raise awareness of how to complete the necessary paperwork correctly. This session is designed for those involved as either a signatory or in the recruitment of staff/volunteers. Included in the course:
Duty of care and the law;
Your rights and responsibilities;
What is risk?
Risk identification and management;
Health and safety policy;
If you have a larger staff team (over six) that require to know about this then this can be delivered in-house.
Who should attend:
Anyone that has supervisory responsibility for volunteers that may qualify for PVG scheme membership.
All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
