    Created: 22/12/2016
News/Events Category: Partnerships, Networks and Forums

Scotland's House of Care has published a Leaning Report in partnership with The Health and Social Care Alliance.

Within the context of moving from the 'medical model' of treatment, towards a model of care and support which builds on people's expertise in living with their conditions and the resources available to support them in their own communities to provide a more holistic approach to achieving the best possible outcomes; this report creates space to reflect on progress make so far and going forward.

It sets out elements required to deliver change in practice, focused on coordinated and capability building training, to promote the whole system transformation needed to improve the interactions and conversations between people and their practitioners.
