    It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

    In 2016/17 Dyslexia Pathways CIC is working in partnership with Healthy Working Lives Fife to deliver four half day dyslexia and neuro difference awareness training sessions in Fife. These are open to businesses, organisations, individuals or anyone with an interest in finding out more about Dyslexia.

    The cost has been part subsidised due to funding provided by Foundation Scotland and has been kept to the low price of 30 per participant per training session.

    This specialist training will enable a better understanding of dyslexia and neuro difference, to become dyslexia and inclusion friendly, recruit and sustain a more effective, inclusive and diverse workforce, and enable employers and organisations to meet their statutory duty under the 2010 Equalities Act. This training is also suitable for anyone wanting to find out more about dyslexia and being dyslexia positive.

    The training sessions will include:
    • What is dyslexia?;
    • Definitions;
    • Dyslexia and legislation (2010 Equalities Act);
    • How to be dyslexia friendly;
    • Being dyslexia supportive and positive;
    • Models of Dyslexia including social model of dyslexia;
    • Dyslexic strengths;
    • Assistive technology and free dyslexia friendly options.

    If you would like to pre-book a place on one of these training sessions, or find out more about them or about other services Dyslexia Pathways CIC provide, please contact Steve McCue on 07828 741473. They can provide in house training and other dyslexia services including comprehensive computer based dyslexia screening and assessment.

    There are between ten and twelve places available for each training session.
