    Fife Young Families Money Advice Project is funded by the Scottish Government and aims to tackle potential relative child poverty issues as part of the "Tackling Money Worries" initiative. The project is being run by ENABLE Scotland, in partnership with Citizens Advice Rights Fife.

    The project has identified that potential financial issues may exist within families who have a disabled child or children aged 8 years or under (Pre and Post diagnosis). The service can answer many typical scenarios, problems or questions a family in this situation may have i.e.:

    • Having to leave work to provide care;
    • Grants available;
    • Budgeting advice;
    • Debt advice;
    • Benefits and Allowance Checks;
    • Will it pay to work part-time;
    • Child tax and working tax credits;
    • Trust deeds;
    • Payday loans, credit card debt etc.

    This service is free and can also be provided "at home".
