    Talk Matters provides counselling for adults in the Fife area facing a variety of issues including anxiety, stress, bereavement, trauma and abuse. The role of Volunteer Treasurer requires the following:-

    • A commitment of 4 hours per fortnight plus attendance at approximately 12 trustee meetings per year;
    • To record all income and expenditure;
    • To provide monthly statement of accounts for trustees;
    • To take accounts to trial balance stage at the end of the financial year ready for annual audit;
    • To manage all aspects of payroll, gift aid and banking.

    The role of treasurer can be combined with that of Trustee if so desired.

    The office is based at 16 New Row, Dunfermline, KY12 7EF but arrangements can be made for the Treasurer to work partly from home. Trustee meetings usually take place on a weekday evening in an office location nearby.
