  • Fife Council Funding Review: FVA Workshops

    Created: 25/08/2014
    News/Events Category: FVA News

Fife Council is undertaking a to review of the majority of its support for the third sector, through grants, premises and discretionary rating relief. A copy of the Council paper can be found in this earlier news article.

The Council held a consultation event on 20 June to engage with organisations within the scope of the review. Click here to read a summary of the feedback given on the day.

We're hosting a series of meetings/workshops/discussions over the next few weeks to bring together organisations covered by the Review to discuss and capture your concerns and suggestions. We'll then feed that into the review process in order to maximise our influence on ensuring a good and fair outcome for Fife's third sector, communities and citizens. These sessions form part of the Council's review process and are an ideal opportunity to put your views across and hear what others are thinking.

If you can't make it along to a session then please get in touch with us so that your voice can be included within the responses we submit.

We're hosting 7 locality sessions, within the Council's 7 Area Committee areas, for those organisations that predominantly operate at a locality level. Larger or Fife-wide organisations should be able to associate with one of the thematic sessions taking place in August. Organisations can self-select, and so can attend as many sessions as they would like to.

To book a place at a session simply e-mail us with your name, organisation name and which session(s) you'd like to attend.
