Living Wage Week 2026

Created: 02/11/2026
News/Events Category: General News

Living Wage Week is the annual celebration of the Living Wage movement. This year, it takes place 9-15 November.

The week celebrates the employers and individuals who are pushing the movement forward and encourage others to join the movement of almost 17,000 Living Wage accredited employers.

In Fife, there are over 75 third sector organisations paying employees the real Living Wage, including Fife Voluntary Action, Cambo Heritage Trust, Methilhill Community Children' Initiative, EATS Rosyth, and many more.

96% of Living Wage businesses say they’ve benefited since accrediting. So if you’re already accredited, Living Wage Week is the perfect opportunity for you to promote your Living Wage accreditation to staff, stakeholders and the public. Overall, the Living Wage accreditation is good for business, individuals, and society as a whole.

The theme of Living Wage Week 2026 is 25 years of the Living Wage. The network of Living Wage Employers are part of a legacy that has changed the world of work for the better, and we want to collectively celebrate how far we've come as a movement and look ahead to the next chapter.
