Created: 02/11/2026
News/Events Category: Health and Social Care
This item will show under the following categories: Employability

For those aged 16 and over, the Project Mindset programme offers practical support to improve mental health and wellbeing. Sessions explore challenges such as low confidence, self-esteem, anxiety and stress, using gentle trauma-processing techniques alongside the Decider Life Skills toolkit.

The programme helps participants manage everyday challenges, overcome barriers to moving forward and build on their individual strengths and resilience. The Decider Life Skills toolkit features 12 practical exercises based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). It has been trialled and used across Fife as part of a proactive approach to promoting positive mental health.

The course is delivered by YMCA Glenrothes, starting on Monday 16 November 2026, 10am-12pm.
