SP Energy Networks Fund Seeks Feedback from Kincardine Community
Created: 15/10/2026
SP Energy Networks operate the electricity transmission network in the Fife area.
They are building a new overhead line and substation near Kincardine and will soon be launching a community benefit fund of approximately £2.5 million in three areas: Kincardine, Dollar and Clackmannan.
You can read more about the fund here.
Before they open the fund to applications from local organisations, they need to understand how local people think this money should be spent.
This will help SP Energy Networks decide the sort of local projects that the money should support so it brings lasting community benefits.
They are currently consulting with the community in Kincardine to understand local priorities to ensure the funding is community-led.
They're committed to working collaboratively with the community to provide as much impact as possible and they're working hard to ensure the fund prioritises the needs of everyone - not just those with the loudest voices.
You can complete the feedback form online here: Highlight your priorities for the Community Benefit Fund for Kincardine Survey
