It takes a village: Talking about adversity and trauma in early childhood

Created: 07/10/2026
News/Events Category: Children and Families

FrameWorks UK has published a briefing, building on their work in partnership with Each and Every Child, to explore how the Scottish public think about adversity and trauma in early childhood.

Through four recommendations, it helps communicators and practitioners tell a new story – one that is grounded in our shared responsibility towards children, one that explains the impact of adversity in early childhood, and one that shows recovery and resilience are possible.
