Fife Housing Group Donates Thousands to Local Charities

12 community organisations across Fife have received a share of £20,000 in grant funding from Fife Housing Group, helping local projects make a difference in their communities.
The successful organisations were celebrated at Fife Housing Group’s annual Pitches, Prizes and Pizza event at Hayfield Community Centre in Kirkcaldy.
Now in its sixth year, the Giving Something Back Grants programme supports organisations doing valuable work in communities across Fife. The programme is made possible through the generosity of contractors who are part of Fife Housing Group’s charitable framework, with 2% of their invoiced costs donated to support local good causes.
As part of this year’s event, successful applicants were invited to pitch their projects to local residents and a panel of judges. The judges then had the difficult task of deciding how the available funding should be shared between the projects.
Supporting communities across Fife
The 12 organisations receiving funding this year are:
- Valleyfield Community Club
- Fife Gingerbread
- Rosyth Sharks RFC
- Rosyth Men's Shed
- Abbeyview Baby and Toddler Group
- Lynnes Support Space
- New4U Clothing Bank
- Home-Start Levenmouth
- Autism Rocks Fife
- The Central Park Community Trust
- Fife Steel Basketball Club
- Fit Ball United
Together, these organisations are supporting people and strengthening communities across Fife through activities, services and opportunities that respond to local needs.
The Pitches, Prizes and Pizza event provided an opportunity not only to celebrate the successful groups, but also to bring local organisations, tenants and residents together and showcase some of the positive work happening in communities across Fife.
Looking ahead
The next round of Giving Something Back Grants is expected to open for applications in spring 2027.
