An exciting opportunity as arisen for a Relief Office Manager position at SEAL Dunfermline, small charity supporting children and young people with additional support needs in Dunfermline and West Fife.

The post requires flexibility from the successful applicant to cover the regular office manager’s holidays. The post is for a minimum of 100 hours for the first year and reduces to a minimum of 80 hours in subsequent years.

They are looking for a person with excellent IT knowledge and skills, communication and organisational skills who is able work independently at times and has a ‘can do’ approach to join their small, friendly team. 

Full training will be provided over six hours per week for four weeks during the induction period. 

The role

SEAL Dunfermline supports children and young people with additional support needs in Dunfermline and West Fife.

The Relief Office Manager will be key in ensuring the smooth operation of SEAL Dunfermline’s key administrative and business processes when the regular Office Manager is on annual leave or may be absent from work. Relief cover will ordinarily be planned in advance however the post holder may be asked to take on additional relief cover as necessary.

During holidays and periods of staff absence, the post-holder will focus on replying to emails, taking calls, keeping online banking processes up to date, maintaining accurate records in accordance with GDPR requirements and liaising with members of the team and external organisations and companies where required.

The post holder will also be required on occasion to full fill pay roll tasks. Full training will be provided
